Computer Science & Academics
Student profile
Artificial intelligence and computer science.
My interest in artificial intelligence and computer science has influenced the classes I take and the work I choose to pursue. Through computer science coursework, I have developed a stronger foundation in programming and learned how to apply it beyond the classroom. That interest has led me to build projects such as RPSXO and StudyChats and to conduct original AP Research on how the structure of Python code affects AI translation into Java. I want to continue learning how AI systems work and how computer science can be used to build practical, thoughtful projects.

AP Research: AI code translation
Structural Code Quality and Its Influence on AI Code Translation from Python to Java
As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly integrated into software development, AI code translation tools are being used to convert programs between languages. This study asks whether the structural quality of source code changes the accuracy of AI translation from Python to Java.
What I investigated. I designed 15 programming tasks in paired Clean and Messy versions, creating 30 functionally identical Python programs. Claude, Google Gemini, and GitHub Copilot Chat translated each program into Java, producing 90 translations.
How I conducted it. Every translation was run without manual correction and evaluated by compilation plus five unit tests. I compared clean-versus-messy success for each translator using 2×2 contingency tables and chi-square tests.
The Effect of Structural Code Quality on AI Code Translation
This presentation turns the full experiment into a visual explanation of the research question, experimental controls, translation workflow, test results, statistical findings, limitations, implications, and future directions.
It documents the same original experiment as the paper, with visual comparisons across Claude, Gemini, and GitHub Copilot and the evidence used to defend the final conclusion.

AP Seminar: Historical Bias in AI
Historical Bias in Artificial Intelligence
Historical narratives shape identity and public understanding, but AI systems can reproduce one-sided accounts from biased training data. This paper asks how bias in AI-generated historical representation affects public awareness.
What the paper examines. The argument considers the social and educational consequences of incomplete historical representation, including how repeated AI outputs can shape perception and reinforce exclusion.
How I conducted it. I synthesized peer-reviewed research, institutional reports, and historical examples across social, educational, equality, and technology lenses. I weighed counterarguments and compared proposed responses, ultimately recommending clear labels and disclosures for AI-generated historical content.
